Paragon carried out the supply and installation of the roofing, cladding and rainwater goods for this project including the supply, installation and commission of the roller shutter doors on time and within budget.
The works were carried out for a private client whose site had previously stood for several months with a second-hand steel frame and little else. As drawings of the existing frame weren’t available, a full site survey was carried out prior to commencement to enable materials to be scheduled including the replacement of missing cold rolled purlins and rails where necessary.
Although access to the rear elevation was extremely tight, Paragon developed a bespoke access system which negated the requirement for standing scaffold. This system ultimately saved the client funds which could be utilised elsewhere on the project.
Prior to commencement, discussions were also held with the client to assess thermal and visual requirements, discussions which formulated the final specification of the roofing and cladding and the building was completed to great satisfaction.
