Re-roofing project, Heckmondwicke.

Repaired and refurbished roof, gutters, replacement insulation and roof-lights.

Paragon Cladding Services were requested to investigate numerous leaks and various other issues to the roof of an existing unit which formed an integral part of our client’s operations. Due to the dual portal design of the existing frame, it was decided to make an initial assessment using drone footage and images rather than access to the roof by our personnel.

On initial inspection the roof and gutters were found to be in a far worse condition than our client could have imagined, and the only option was to remove the existing outer sheet of the twin skin construction and replace, whilst at the same time replacing all of the insulation and existing rooflights. The valley gutter was relined with a Plygene gutter lining system and ridge details were redeveloped to provide suitable support from the outside of the building rather than disturbing ongoing operations internally.

This refurbished 2500m2 roof enabled the client to fully reclaim the use of this building, without disruption to their works, and ensured that these operations can continue for many years to come.
