Asbestos roofing removal and reclad with anti-condensation coated steel cladding
This project saw the removal of almost 3000m2 of non-licensed asbestos profiled cladding to facilitate the adaption and remodelling of an existing steel framed building. Once adaption of the existing frame had been completed, our teams returned to reclad with anti-condensation coated steel cladding to form one of the largest hop processing plants in the UK.
Although straight forward by design, the proximity of overhead power lines required close liaison between ourselves, the client and Western Power to mitigate power outage times whilst maintaining safe methods of working in these areas.
The completed building provides greater functionality brought back to life to suit the intended use of this fully redeveloped building.
