Sherburn in Elmet

Installation of twin-skin roof, wall cladding and bespoke sump outlet.

A combination of almost 4000m2 of twin-skin roof and wall cladding was installed during a period of unusually bad weather, on time and within budget.

The design brief for this project contained a constraint request that, to ensure that underground drainage was kept outside of individual units, no rainwater pipes should be present inside any of the units.

Rainwater calculations were carried out in house in accordance with BSEN12056-3:2000 to design a bespoke sump outlet arrangement which projected away from the wall cladding. This enabled each valley gutter to be drained with only 2 rainwater pipe stacks per run achieving a client prerequisite through design, know-how and ingenuity.
