Paragon Cladding of Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, has been awarded the SMAS Worksafe accreditation. The company, which installs, refurbishes and repairs roofing and cladding on industrial, commercial and domestic properties, is delighted with the award.

Meeting the SSIP Core Criteria demonstrates that we are serious about health and safety within Paragon Cladding and have an effective H&S Management System. We use our H&S Management System to ensure that any work we are engaged in is, so far as reasonably practical, carried out without risk to health and safety.”
The scheme is a health and safety accreditation that meets SSIP criteria. SSIP, which stands for Safety Schemes in Procurement, is an initiative to ensure consistency across standards in supply chains. It reduces the health and safety administration burden across the construction industry as it prequalifies contractors within the scheme.
Paragon Cladding has seen steady, controlled growth over the past four years, since its establishment in 2017. The company focuses on roofing and cladding design and build projects, the stripping and re-sheeting of existing roof and wall areas, the refurbishment and redevelopment of cladding and general cladding maintenance including gutter cleaning or re-lining, and the safe removal and replacement of non-licensed asbestos sheeting.
Types of projects undertaken include new build and the refurbishment of industrial and commercial buildings, warehousing, retail outlets, leisure centres, offices and public buildings, along with the repair and maintenance of existing properties.
Materials installed include composite panelled roof and wall systems, standing seam and rainscreen cladding of various types including HPL, terracotta tiles and aluminium modular panels as well as traditional twin skin profiled roof and wall cladding.
